Jason M. Wade, CPA


Jason M. Wade is a graduate of Hillsdale College with a Bachelor of Arts degree emphasizing accounting and a graduate of Spring Arbor University with a Masters in Business Administration. Upon graduation in 2003, he joined CHBW & Co., P.C. He currently serves as Vice-President.

Jason presently manages audit engagements for cities, townships, school districts, and nonprofit organizations. He also manages audits of construction companies. In addition to auditing, Jason is involved in the compilation and review areas of manufacturing, agribusiness, construction contractors, and nonprofit organizations. Jason also assists with the preparation of individual, corporate, and nonprofit tax returns.

Jason is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. Jason maintains a minimum of forty hours annually of State and National CPA Society sponsored seminars in governmental accounting and auditing, nonprofit organizations, and corporate and individual income taxation. He also maintains a minimum of 80 hours of continuing professional education bi-annually, specific to governmental auditing, as required to supervise governmental audits.

Jason currently serves as Treasurer of the First Baptist Church of North Adams, where he has been a member since 1984. He currently serves as a Director on the Hillsdale County Community Foundation Board and he formerly served as Treasurer on the Hospice of Hillsdale County Board.
